Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Ex twice world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really going ahead.
